Microdiamant Diamond grinding pads

Innovative design  The SQUADRO grinding disc is a structured, flexible abrasive pad. The self-sharpening grinding triangles consist of a polymer matrix containing precisely graded diamond micron powder. The SQUADRO discs are available with either self-adhesive backing, magnetic backing or mounted on stainless steel carrier plates. Diameters range from 200 mm to 760 mm, in full circles or ring design. Diameters larger than 760 mm are supplied in segments.

Simple handling  SQUADRO grinding disc may be fitted on conventional lapping and polishing machines. To take full advantage of its grinding performance, SQUADRO should be used at circumferential speeds up to 15m/s, which is higher than typical lapping. While water is good enough for cooling, lubricants such as oil or emulsions may be used to maximize the surface finish results. The grinding disc should be dressed before its first use. In most applications, SQUADRO is self-sharpening and therefore does not need to be re-dressed.

Versatile  SQUADRO diamond grinding discs are available in three different bonding systems to accommodate different application needs:

• SQUADRO-M for ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• SQUADRO-O for optical components
• SQUADRO-H for hard materials
